Harvest Time Almost Here

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation -      What a great weekend and I hope that you got rested up with the extra day off. This time of year brings some great weather outside and please take advantage of it to build those vitamin D stores for the winter. I hate to even say that word but we know what's coming. I'm amazed that the grass is still green and we're  mowing the yard every week but that's okay, much rather have Green than brown. looks to be a great weather week coming up and I hope I can get all my jobs done that I want to do before bad weather gets here. It looks like the farmers will start harvesting pretty soon so be ready for the dust in the air and the farm equipment on the roads.      Speaking of winter time coming, that is when we usually have lowered immunity due to less sunshine and are fighting the cold weather. This goes along with the article that I’ve included on some of the side effects of the Jab. T...

Immune Systems and Weather

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-             Wow - what a beautiful weekend. It was a great reprieve back to beautiful Fall weather. I hope that you were able to get outside and enjoy it without working yourself too hard in the yard. The leaves are coming down but the winter wind will blow them away so don’t hurt yourself raking leaves too much. It sure was nice being able to be outside and enjoy the sun without a coat. Don’t know how much longer we’ll be able to do that this year. Even the stores have lots of Christmas stuff available already so we know that the winter season is fast approaching. We have lots of products here at Natural Health to help keep your immune system strong during the winter season. Don’t wait till you “catch” some bug but prevent that from happening by keeping the immune system strong. We can help!             Our topic of informatio...

Winter and Positive Thinking

Hello Natural Health family. We have been blessed with great warm weather recently. We all know soon that the weather will be colder, the snow will fall and days are already shorter. This happens every year so relax. Many people tend to get caught up in the “negative” aspects of the winter months and the weather that comes with it. Well since it is coming anyway then how about looking at all the good to come.   Now I know that it can be difficult to look at things in a more positive way especially if we have had some bad experiences with it. In regards to the snow fall you might dread to think of all the snow you have had to shovel. Or the freezing temperatures that may have caused issues such as pipes bursting. We have had all our fair shares of so called problems that we had to face with the wintery months. However, what about the many great things such as when you were younger. You may have liked to go sledding, had some snowball fights, built some snowmen (and wom...

Stay Healthy This Winter

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-             Well the North wind is letting us know that Winter is on the way but we still have some Fall left. The pretty colors in the trees are mostly gone but we have some good weather to look forward to this week. Get outside as much as you can to absorb the good sunshine and fresh air before the snow flies. Hopefully that’s a ways off yet. I always look at this time of year as being dangerous for health because were headed into all the holidays, which gives people excuses to eat bad stuff. We don’t need to weaken our new systems now, not only for the Covid business, but for flu and colds and all those winter maladies. We have lots of great nutritional support for the immune system and are here to help keep you and yours healthy all winter.             I’m sending along a great article on vegetable oils and why they’re so b...
Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-             Were you able to get outside a little over the weekend and enjoy the beautiful colors in the trees? It won’t last long so hopefully you’ll get a chance soon. It’s definitely looking more like late Fall but hopefully we’ll have a few warm days yet before Winter. Hopefully the weather’s nice for Halloween this year as last year it was cold and snowy. We’re starting to ramp up on the sales of our immune system products as the cold gets going. Congaplex is a great product to help white blood cells and Ferrafood is a great product for red blood cells.             Don’t forget about our health care classes Monday nights at 6 o’clock. On the 26 th we talking about testimonials and motivation. When we hear all the fear mongering in the mainstream media and all you hear is bad news about numbers, it’s easy to get down and w...

Vitamins and Minerals

I hope that you had a great weekend despite the weather. I had to take a trip to Central Michigan and it was warmer there than it was here in Quincy. The first part of the trip was traveling in whiteout conditions and not being able to see the road until we got to Pittsfield and then not bad from there on. The weather can be a stress not only because of the cold temperatures and being stuck inside but when trying to travel and the conditions on the roads. The stress can lead to nutritional deficiencies as the body is using more of its stores to handle these stresses.             Our topic for tonight’s health shop is vitamins and minerals. We’ll be talking about where they come from and how the body can absorb them, two topics you never hear about on mainstream media advertising. For example, the Ensure product has artificial vitamins and minerals that come f...

The Walking Revolution

The Walking Revolution Analysis by  Dr. Joseph Mercola STORY AT-A-GLANCE U.S. inactivity and sedentary lifestyles cause obesity and other health problems Car-based lifestyles based on commuting from suburbs to job sites have greatly increased inactivity Incorporating walking into personal lifestyles can lower blood pressure, reduce susceptibility to diabetes and lower the risk of developing some cancers and cognitive decline Walkable communities and parks are making a comeback, often through the efforts of citizen activists Many, including the elderly, have taken up mall walking; in some places children now walk to school via "walking school buses" Most of us have some idea about the dangers of inactivity — the too common lifestyle that consists of going from the "couch to the car to the cube." But many think the alternative to a sedentary life is active working out and a gym membership. The excellent documentary "The Walking Revolution,...

Seasonal Stress

Well we had a great weekend for December. We had some warmth and sunshine and not rain or snow. It’s great to get dried out a little. Looks like the leaves are mostly down now and we can get that final raking done. The increased number of Christmas lights on the houses are telling us that season is coming soon. Hopefully you’re not stressing out too much with the coming holidays.             That’s a great lead into the topic of this month here at Natural Health, which is handling Stress and Fatigue and getting good Sleep. The article that I’ve included this week is on as SAD, or seasonal effective disorder. This is basically about getting stressed and depressed during the winter months. There’s a lot of good nutritional support that we can help with and I like to have my patients go to the suntan bed once a week, to get sunshine type light which activates the vitamin D which hel...
