Life’s Lessons

Hello Natural Health Family. I hope everyone found some time to unwind, get some work done, start a new project, or have a little fun. It has been quite the roller coaster the past month and thanks for being patient with us all here at Natural Health. We still have many things to figure out but know that it will work out as life always has a way of doing that. Life is always changing, sometimes big and sometimes small. Therefore, we must be able to adapt so that we can live life more fully.  Have you ever heard the saying, “you win some and you lose some?” If you are into sports at all you probably have heard the saying. Of course in life it may seem that we have wins and losses. However, this is one way to view it. There is another saying that is similar but with a small change. The saying is “you win some and you learn some.” Now can you see the difference. Think about for a moment all the greatest athletes, inventors, etc. If they let their losses discourage them from where they

Another Cold Snap

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-                 I hope that you were able to enjoy your weekend. We have gotten fairly lucky with halfway decent weather in January. Looks like we have a cold snap to go through and maybe some better temperatures later. I know that the calendar says spring is a ways away but we can always hope for better weather and not a lot of snow and especially ice. We are getting many reports of people suffering from colds and especially flu. I personally think this is a side effect of the holidays and the cold weather but we find if we just use some good supplements to help the immune system strengthen and heal, people can get over their illnesses and get back to “normal”. Cataplex A-C is our best nutritional supplement for the flu. It is a very simple supplement of vitamin A and vitamin C complex nutrition along with the herb “echinacea” that helps it to work better, faster, and deeper into the cells of the body. Very simple but very effective.

How to Fast for Metabolic Fitness and Hormone Balance

STORY AT-A-GLANCE The vast majority of people eat across 12 hours or more, which is a recipe for metabolic disaster. Health statistics bear this out, showing that 93.2% of Americans are metabolically unfit Time-restricted eating (TRE) is one of the most foundational strategies to stay healthy, and when done appropriately can also help balance your sex hormones Your body has two primary energy systems. One of them is activated when you eat. When your blood sugar goes up, your body uses that glucose for energy. When you don’t eat for a period of time, your blood sugar goes down, which switches when your body is metabolically flexible to a different energy system that uses ketones derived from fat instead of glucose These energy systems are intimately tied to your circadian rhythm. Food is the most important regulator for the clocks inside your cells. If you don’t get your feeding times right, your circadian rhythms, which are responsible for turning cellular protein production on and o

How Aluminum Damages Your Brain

STORY AT-A-GLANCE Research has found a strong link between aluminum exposure and Alzheimer’s disease. Patients with a genetic mutation that predisposes them to early onset of Alzheimer’s and more aggressive disease have universally high aluminum content in their brains According to a British researcher, without aluminum in the brain, Alzheimer’s does not develop When aluminum was first approved for use in vaccines, it was approved based on its efficacy. It was never actually tested for safety. It was simply assumed to be safe Aluminum has been shown to cause mitochondrial dysfunction and depletion of adenine-triphosphate (ATP), which sets the stage for virtually any chronic disease. Aluminum salts can increase levels of glial activation, inflammatory cytokines and amyloid precursor protein within the brain Recent research found the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s vaccine schedule — when adjusted for bodyweight — exposes children to a level of aluminum that is 15.9 t
