Women's Health and Prevention

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation -       Did you enjoy your weekend? There was a little different weather for everyone. We had some sunshine, some cold weather, some warmer weather, and some rain. Thankfully no snow! Everything is growing up so nicely and the trees are finally getting their leaves growing out so everything is looking beautiful. I know many of the ladies are getting their flowers in and hopefully no more freezes. The spring allergy season is in full bloom though and we're going through a lot of Albizia  Complex for that purpose. Another  great product that I have found that works very well for spring colds and lung congestion that hangs on is our product called PulMaCo. It has many interesting ingredients but one that I found that is most interesting is the fennel seed extract in it and these are great to help the body rid itself of viruses in the respiratory tract area. There are other sources, like certain pine need...

Breast Cancer and Deodorants

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation -      I hope that you all had a great Mother's Day weekend and were able to enjoy being outside on Saturday. Sunday was a little tough with the rain and wind and cold but don't worry, it will change to Heat & Dry eventually. I really find it interesting that a couple weeks ago when it was really warm, the trees budded out and looked like they were going to have all their leaves on quickly. The cooler weather, almost colder, has slowed the trees down a lot but they're finally getting more leaves and the grass is growing quite well. We're actually having a spring this year.      May for us is women's health month so during the health shop this week, we're talking about pregnancy and fertility. Fertility has become quite an issue for young couples and both sexes have issues to work out. Between the environmental chemicals and the lack of good nutritional support and understanding over the ...

Allopathic Medicine Vs Holistic Healthcare

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-             I hope that you all had a great Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed the sunshine. I was so happy that the forecasters were wrong-again. We got some rain in there but a lot of sunshine too. It’s so great to see the trees having leaves on them again and everything has greened up and is growing like crazy. It’s just such a great time of year.             Our theme for this month has been women’s health but it’s definitely gotten overshadowed with this virus business. The 2 topics go hand-in-hand though as we are trying to get people to realize that true health care is getting the body to work correctly and at optimum with vibrant energy and not just waiting for a disease process to strike and then treating the body. We’re talking two different health paradigm’s here. Allopathic medicine looks at treating disease and holist...

Women's Health

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-             Well if you liked rain, you surely like last weekend. All the moisture is sure helping the grass to grow and getting the leaves grown out on the trees. It’s such a special time of year with everything getting green and growing. Just a little hard to get the gardens in with the ground being so wet. The flowers are coming up and looking great and I’m sure we’ll get those gardens in eventually. You might have to bale the grass though.             Our theme for this month is women’s health and the topic for this week, especially in our health shop tonight, is women’s cancers and top topics. With this plan-demic going on, it’s hard to think of anything else. Talking about this virus issue though, coincides with talking about cancer and the immune system. There is much evidence out there that many cancers come from viruses...

Women's Health

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-             Well we all survived another week and weekend despite what the mainstream media tells us is going to happen-ha. It was quite a mix of weather with rain and cold and sunshine and whatever. Were actually having Spring this year, something were not used to. Whenever you can though, get out into the sunshine and fresh air. It’s so nice to see the grass green and the trees getting they’re leaves back and life coming back everywhere. Such a positive time of the year and so hopeful.             Our topic for this month is women’s health and tonight we will have our health shop on pregnancy and infertility that will end up on YouTube and Brighteon.com if you don’t see it tonight. It’s kind of hard to work into usual topics when were still in lockdown mode for this virus business. The article that I’m sending along looks at u...

Omega-3 Index More Predictive Than Cholesterol Levels

Omega-3 Index More Predictive Than Cholesterol Levels Analysis by  Dr. Joseph Mercola STORY AT-A-GLANCE Your omega-3 index has a greater impact on risk of heart disease than does your cholesterol level Plant-based omega-3 ALA is converted in restricted amounts to EPA and DHA, but not in large enough amounts to support your brain and heart health EPA and DHA improve blood pressure, reduce inflammation and help slow the progression of Alzheimer's The best sources of EPA and DHA are fatty fish such as herring, anchovies and wild-caught Alaskan salmon, as well as grass fed beef and dairy that have a nearly 1-to-1 ratio of omega-3 to 6 The ketogenic diet is beneficial for many people as it helps with weight control and management and offers protection against a number of health ailments. Approached incorrectly, however, it can actually be harmful. In this short video Dr. Eric Berg warns, "The last thing you want to do is get the benefits of the ketogenic diet ...

Increase Energy

How is 2020 going for you? The weather hasn’t been too bad but it is winter. Again, we are getting a lot of news from out there about all the flu and colds. Most of these are driven by viruses and antibiotics do not help viruses, plus they cause yeast infections due to killing off all the good bacteria. It’s much smarter to work on your immune system so the body can keep all these bugs under control. We have many good products to help with this and they go right along with our Nutrition Response Testing technique to find out which ones the person being tested needs. Just taking “vitamin C”, which is normally just ascorbic acid, is a way of helping the pH in the gut and can be helpful but is not really strengthening the immune system like the true vitamin C complex nutrition can. There is so much baloney out there in the nutrition media so it is important to know what works for you, not only for the benefit, but for t...

The Walking Revolution

The Walking Revolution Analysis by  Dr. Joseph Mercola STORY AT-A-GLANCE U.S. inactivity and sedentary lifestyles cause obesity and other health problems Car-based lifestyles based on commuting from suburbs to job sites have greatly increased inactivity Incorporating walking into personal lifestyles can lower blood pressure, reduce susceptibility to diabetes and lower the risk of developing some cancers and cognitive decline Walkable communities and parks are making a comeback, often through the efforts of citizen activists Many, including the elderly, have taken up mall walking; in some places children now walk to school via "walking school buses" Most of us have some idea about the dangers of inactivity — the too common lifestyle that consists of going from the "couch to the car to the cube." But many think the alternative to a sedentary life is active working out and a gym membership. The excellent documentary "The Walking Revolution,...

Are These the Top 3 Stress-Busting Supplements?

STORY AT-A-GLANCE Optimizing your omega-3, vitamin D and magnesium levels can help reduce stress and positively impact brain health If you choose to use a vitamin D3 supplement, pair it with magnesium and vitamin K2 to reduce your risk of atherosclerosis Maintaining optimal levels of magnesium lowers your risk of anxiety and of vitamin D deficiency Your brain has a high concentration of omega-3; a deficiency is associated with anxiety and depression During an acute stress response, your body undergoes chemical changes that enable you to run from predators or take down prey. It's known as the flight-or-fight response. Unfortunately, some of those same life-saving chemical reactions used to protect you from danger may also be triggered as a coping response to perceived societal dangers, like dealing with a problem with a coworker or addressing the fear of public speaking. In other words, there are times your body finds it difficult to turn off the stress response....
