Food and Health

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation -      What a great weekend! The weather was awesome and there was enough wind to fly kites - ha. I hope that all you Mushroom Hunters out there got your fill. It sure is nice not having to wear winter coats but it's also nice that we're having a Spring this year and not running right into hot summer weather. As the weather heats up, don't forget about hydrating yourself and using sea salt and mineral salt to help with hydration. We always recommend that folks use fresh squeezed lemon juice in their water to help with electrolytes. But don’t drop the lemon slice in the water unless it’s organic - the peel may have chemicals on it. It even makes the water taste better and hydration is so important. Almost as important as food.      Speaking of food, the article that I'm sending along today looks at the importance of eating good food as your medicine and that medicine, i e drugs, are not food ...

Diets and Toxins

Hello everyone in Natural Health Nation -       What a great weekend! We're finally getting some really good weather and the grass is greening up. I love this time of year because of the promise of a fresh start with all the vegetation and tree leaves and just life in general. It's hard to just sit back and savor this time of year because we're so busy with yard chores and just getting around more, and pretty soon we're in the middle of a hot summer.  Hopefully you're able to enjoy it as well and can look forward to getting outside into the fresh air and sunshine. We really need to work on those vitamin D stores after a long winter!       We are still in March and talking about diet. The topic for this week’s health shop will be the Gut-Brain connection. This connection has been getting lots of press in the last 10 years or so and it's so important. At Natural Health, we really work at getting the digestive system w...

Nutrition Response Testing

Hello everyone in Natural Health Nation -        Well I know some people who really like winter and they are getting their wish now for sure. I was hoping we would get by with  an easy winter but I guess we're having it now and that's fine, let's get it over with. It looks like next week will warm up and hopefully that'll lead us towards better weather and springtime. I hope that you haven't had too much trouble with the cold, like your car not starting and not having to shovel too much snow. We're living in a different house this winter than last, and just learning about how all the snow drifts and the differences. You just don't know how things are going to react when it's this cold. You’ve just got to love that global warming - ha.        We are still in heart month, so we're talking a lot about that in our  Health shops. Hopefully you had a great Valentine's Day and didn't eat too much chocolate. ...

Barriers of The Body

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation -      I hope that you all had a great weekend and am getting over all the holiday stresses. We've been fortunate to have fairly good weather for January and I hope that trend continues. I always find that this time of the year I am looking very forward to the Green Grass of spring. the hubbub of the holidays comes and goes so fast and it takes some time to get back into the groove of normal living. Especially when  there is no snow on the ground, everything looks so Gray. It will be a while yet but the green grass and spring flowers will be here soon.      I have several patients right now who have come from different backgrounds and  are having a hard time understanding about the innate intelligence of the body and how it can heal itself if the barriers are removed. This is what we are doing with our Nutrition Response Testing technique and asking the body, that we are testing, w...

The Truth About COVID-19 'Long-Haulers'

Analysis by  Dr. Joseph Mercola STORY AT-A-GLANCE 18.1% of individuals diagnosed with COVID-19 also received a first-time psychiatric diagnosis in the 14 to 90 days afterward. Most common were anxiety disorders, insomnia and dementia An estimated 10% of patients treated for COVID-19 report fatigue, breathlessness, brain fog and/or chronic pain for three weeks or longer. This phenomenon occurs even among patients who had mild cases of COVID-19 U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data show the rate of COVID-19 patients who continue experiencing lingering health problems after recovering from acute COVID-19 may be as high as 45% Many post-acute COVID-19 patients fit the diagnostic criteria for ME/CFS, which has been linked to viral infections According to a COVID-19 treatment guide, many of these “long COVID” patients do spontaneously recover — albeit slowly — with holistic support, rest, symptomatic treatment and gradual increase in activity You may have seen repor...

The Simple Eating Hack That Could Prevent Most Diseases Including Blindness

STORY AT-A-GLANCE Age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a leading cause of blindness in the U.S., is said to be a disease associated with aging but Dr. Chris Knobbe believes it’s mostly related to diet Nine years of extensive research and investigation has led Knobbe to conclude that AMD is driven by nutrient deficiencies and toxicity, caused by processed foods In 1900, the top four causes of death were infectious in nature; by 2010, this had all changed, with chronic diseases replacing infectious diseases as the top killers The four primary components that make up processed foods that are, in turn, contributing to chronic diseases like AMD are sugar, industrially processed seed oils, refined flour and trans fats; industrially processed seed oils are clearly the worst offender According to Knobbe, there were only 50 cases of AMD described across the globe between 1851 and 1930; this skyrocketed to an estimated 196 million cases in 2020 Knobbe believes that by following an ances...

Prevention

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-             Another great weekend and we finally got some more rain. It’s definitely looking more and more like Fall and the tree leaves are coming down faster. Still a lot of green leaves so Fall is just getting started. It’s a great time of year as were getting rid of the high heat, just as long as we don’t get into the cold too fast. A lot of people are having problems with allergy symptoms due to all the Fall flower pollen and farmers in the field. We use a lot of our Albizia Complex product as it helps the liver to drain faster and remove the cause of these symptoms. Just let us know if we can help, that’s why were here at Natural Health.             I’ve included an article today talking about the lack of liability of the companies who are producing these vaccines that will be released soon. If you get a chance to watch t...

Could Retroviruses Play a Role in COVID-19?

Could Retroviruses Play a Role in COVID-19? Analysis by  Dr. Joseph Mercola STORY AT-A-GLANCE Cellular and molecular biologist Judy Mikovits, Ph.D. believes COVID-19 — the disease — is not caused by SARS-CoV-2 alone, but rather that it’s the result of a combination of SARS-CoV-2 and XMRVs (human gammaretroviruses) SARS-CoV-2 also appears to have been manipulated to include components of HIV that destroys immune function along with XMRVs Those already infected with XMRVs may end up getting serious COVID-19 infection and/or die from the disease. Mikovits’s research suggests more than 30 million Americans carry XMRVs and other gammaretroviruses in their bodies from contaminated vaccines and blood supply Mikovits believes 40 years of data suggest Type 1 interferon at very low dose would be an ideal treatment for COVID-19 RT-PCR (reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction) testing, currently used to diagnose active infection by detecting the presence of SARS-CoV-2...
