Thanksgiving

Hello everyone! Let’s talk about this year’s thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is just that, giving thanks for all the blessings that are in our lives. We are living in different times and many are struggling to see the good in these times. Let’s go over a couple topics so we don’t lose sight of the why we celebrate Thanksgiving.   We might see with everything going on that we start to become frustrated about not being able to spend time with loved ones that we normally do at this time. However, we can take it with a different approach. How about instead of seeing all the restrictions or limitations to see others, we look for the good in what is happening. Perhaps it is time to focus on building our relationships with the people that we are with, the close ones that we are able to spend time with. This is a time when we can grow even closer to our family and friends. We tend to overthink about what we say to others but when we follow our hearts we are able to allow space for e...

Why Aren't We Promoting Health to Combat COVID?

Why Aren't We Promoting Health to Combat COVID?  Analysis by  Dr. Joseph Mercola STORY AT-A-GLANCE SARS-CoV-2 is likely here to stay, which means we have to learn to live with it. Seeing how obesity dramatically increases your risk of severe illness and death from COVID-19, your best bet is to lose weight and improve your general health through healthy diet and exercise Even mild obesity may boost COVID-19 severity. Patients with mild obesity had a 2.5 times greater risk of respiratory failure and a five times greater risk of being admitted to an ICU compared to non-obese patients Inflammation triggered by obesity may be responsible for a threefold greater risk of pulmonary embolism (blood clots in the lungs) in COVID-19 patients who are obese Dysregulated lipid synthesis triggered by obesity may aggravate inflammation in the lungs, contributing to increased disease severity during respiratory viral infections Processed foods, junk foods and soft drinks are key culprits in the...

Brain Health

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-             What a great weekend, again! It got pretty warm on us but we had some cloud cover and it seems that we better enjoy the warm weather while it’s still here. I noticed a couple of yellow leaves on a tree in our yard today so were headed towards Fall eventually. This time of the year is so great with everything being so green yet but we know that Fall is coming and the beautiful temperatures and harvest during that time will be endearing. The only problem is what comes after but we will be healthy and ready.             Our topic for this month is brain health and we will be talking about how to help students learn more in school during our health shop’s this week. There is so much that parents can do to help their children have an easier time at school, and especially this year with the virus junk, it’s going to be a ...

Connection

Hello to all of the great people of the Natural Health Family! I wanted to express my appreciation to all who are a part of the Natural Health Family and to share that we love serving you and helping you to feel great. We continue to learn more ways to help you and want to stay up to date as possible. However, I also wanted to illustrate the point that healing doesn’t come from outside but within and that it's not going to be the next best thing or product that is going to help people to stay healthy but to understand how the body functions to bring about great health. Two topics I am going to talk about is first how we are all connected and why it is important to help one another. The other topic is again where true health and healing come from. How are we all connected? I have talked about quantum before but to reiterate, quantum is a branch of physics that sees the world as all energy. We tend to think that our bodies and the things we touch are physical and non moving objects...
