Prejudice

  Hello Natural Health Family. This post might be the start of a series of similar posts but we will see how this one goes. Today we are going to talk about the two emotions of prejudice and forgiveness. These emotions are the same but varying in degree. When we use these with reason we can allow ourselves to be free of being attached to a certain person or event that may be draining our energy leading to lack of health.  Prejudice may be defined as premature judgement, bias, often grounded on sentiment, ideas, or associations. Many times when people think of prejudice they think of the intense racism or violence happening in the world. However, prejudice can be similar to intolerance. When one of these is used constantly, then can we find that it starts to grow the more intense nature of resentment, anger and hate.   Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-             What a beautiful weekend! It cooled off just enough to make it very enjoyable outside but still warm enough to not need coats and things like that. It’s great to have things green yet too but we could use some rain as the grass is getting a little brown and it’s very dusty.   Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-             Another great weekend but it’s starting to get dry. The temperatures were nice but it looks like it’s going to get warmer this week. Don’t forget to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and getting some sea salt or mineral salt in the diet. It seems that every year when school starts it gets hot but it won’t last long. What is Health?

  Hello again to all the great people of the Natural Health family. Today I wanted to discuss briefly two ways that one could look at health. One way to see it could be that the world is filled with different things that can harm you and that you are a victim to this unforgiving world. Another way to see it is that you are a powerful beyond measure capable of defending yourself from any outside influence. Let’s dive into why these two views are not right or wrong but need context to be understood.  We know that there are different things in our environment such as bacteria and viruses that can be harmful to us IF we are not able to adapt to the “bug.” For instance a person (not allergic to bees)  gets stung by one bee can have some mild swelling and be able to recover from it fairly well. However, if that same person were to get swarmed and stung by many bees then it could have life threatening effects. This is because the person was overloaded and not able to adapt to the environmen
