Technology

Hello Natural Health Family. Today I wanted to talk about technology. Science has come a long way and we have been introduced to many things that help us in our daily lives. However, when speaking of technology we tend to forget the power of the human body. I will briefly discuss some great aspects of the human body as it relates to health and functioning.  Have you ever stopped and thought about all the different functions that your body performs every minute or even every second? I bet not. Your body performs many functions all the time including replicating millions of cells per second, defending you from bacteria and viruses, digesting your food, breathing without you thinking about it, pumping blood all around your body and so on. Isn’t it amazing that it does so much without us even having to think about it. Now to get even more precise. Your heart beats 2 gallons per minute through roughly 60,000 miles of blood vessels. Every cell in your body goes through the order of 100,0
Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-             Were you able to get outside a little over the weekend and enjoy the beautiful colors in the trees? It won’t last long so hopefully you’ll get a chance soon. It’s definitely looking more like late Fall but hopefully we’ll have a few warm days yet before Winter. Hopefully the weather’s nice for Halloween this year as last year it was cold and snowy. We’re starting to ramp up on the sales of our immune system products as the cold gets going. Congaplex is a great product to help white blood cells and Ferrafood is a great product for red blood cells.             Don’t forget about our health care classes Monday nights at 6 o’clock. On the 26 th we talking about testimonials and motivation. When we hear all the fear mongering in the mainstream media and all you hear is bad news about numbers, it’s easy to get down and we want to keep people highly motivated to beat all this stuff. If you look at the actual statistics you’ll see tha

Zinc Is Key for COVID-19 Treatment and Prevention

STORY AT-A-GLANCE Zinc prevents viral replication inside your cells, but is poorly absorbed. Zinc ionophores (zinc transport molecules) such as quercetin, epigallocatechin-gallate (EGCG) and the drug hydroxychloroquine facilitate zinc uptake A combination of zinc with a zinc ionophore was in 2010 shown to inhibit SARS coronavirus in vitro. In cell culture, it also blocked viral replication within minutes Zinc deficiency impairs immune function Preliminary research found COVID-19 patients with plasma zinc levels below 50 mcg/dl at admission had a 2.3 times greater risk of in-hospital death than those with a zinc level of 50 mcg/dl or higher Other recent research found COVID-19 patients were more likely to be deficient in zinc than healthy controls. Zinc deficient patients also had worse outcomes and higher rates of death. While 70.4% of zinc deficient patients developed complications, only 30% of those with sufficient levels developed complications Your immune system is your first lin

Criticism and Sympathy

Hi everyone! Today the discussion will focus on the two different emotions of criticism and sympathy. These are important especially in this day and age where many tend to always be analytical about certain topics.  Criticism may seem negative but only when used inappropriately. Many people tend to see criticism as something bad because it has been used as finding fault in others. Destructive criticism has been used much more than constructive criticism and as a result many are geared towards looking for the flaws in the world. The original definition of criticism was viewing and analyzing an object or thing not finding fault but rather finding excellence. We are conditioned to find fault because we have seen the ideal or perfect and find the imperfect. When we use this measure of seeing the bad or imperfections in others we will see that the same measure we have used will be used on us as well. This leads to feelings of lack, inferiority, and separateness. However, we must come to l

News Sources and Social Media

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-             Well we are definitely into Fall. The tree leaves are turning colors and falling, as are the temperatures. Fall is such a great season but the trouble is that ends in Winter-ha. This time of the year also goes along with the mainstream medicine promoting flu shots. We’ve already started seeing patients who have been around those who had flu shots and the shedding of the virus gave them the flu. We have a great nutrition to help the body get over it quickly called Cataplex A-C. It has vitamin A complex and vitamin C complex in it with Echinacea. It works great and is easy to digest and absorb.             I normally send along an article from Dr. Mercola. His supplements are not very good but his research articles are great. He has been censored now on all the major social media outlets for putting out facts about vaccines and the coronavirus and masks, etc. Somehow my email was deleted from his list so I have not been getting h

Generosity

Good day! Today I will discuss how generosity can be a key factor when it comes to our health and well being. Generosity is considered a positive emotion and I thought especially in these times that we may be encouraged to practice it more so it can be contagious (in a good way) for others.  When is the last time you did something for someone without expecting anything in return. Generosity is just that. When we help others for the sake of giving our time and commitment to better aid the other person we are giving our energy to them. However, we must understand also that it does not mean we deplete our energy but actually the opposite. When we help others for the sake of helping others we know we feel better and more of a zest for life. When we practice generosity we are allowing our cup to overflow and allow more room for new energy to come in its place. On the other hand, if we continually only perform actions based on selfish motives then energy is depleted because we are not “ove

Breast Health

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-             Aren’t the trees beautiful? Fall is such a beautiful time of year and the weather has been outstanding. I hope you were able to get outside and increase your vitamin D stores for the winter. Remember that vitamin D is activated by sunlight so it’s important to get some. Vitamin D is also an oil soluble vitamin so you must be consuming good fats in order to have a good vitamin D source. If you get into the science of vitamin D, you’ll find it comes from cholesterol so the mainstream medicines war on cholesterol causes vitamin D levels to be low and this causes lots of immune system problems and other issues. We help our patients be able to digest and absorb fats and watch that their vitamin D levels are optimum.             The article I’m sending along this week looks at screenings and mammograms and how they can be harmful with the false positives they promote. It kind of reminds us of the virus tests people are getting now an

Mammography: The War on Women's Breasts

STORY AT-A-GLANCE The documentary “Boobs: The War on Women’s Breasts” explores how mammography is causing more harm than good for many women One of the harms of using mammography as a screening tool is that it can often lead to overdiagnosis and overtreatment, including false-positive tests and unnecessary biopsies Due to the introduction of mammography, breast cancer was overdiagnosed — meaning that tumors were detected that would never lead to clinical symptoms — in 1.3 million women over a 30-year period Mammograms and their resulting biopsies may increase the spread of cancer, and up to 1 in 4 breast tissue biopsies may be incorrectly diagnosed by pathologists, with unnecessary mastectomies being performed as a result There’s also the issue that mammograms use ionizing radiation at a relatively high dose, which in and of itself can contribute to the development of breast cancer Other potentially safer options to mammography such as thermography and ultrasound are not widely avail

How To Stay Healthy

Hi Natural Health Family! This post will be short and brief. I am going to talk about some key points about how we can help ourselves stay healthy. The topics will be movement, food and the mind.  Movement is essential for us to be and stay healthy. When we move we are able to activate our muscles to promote blood flow and help our bodies be able to excrete waste. Blood flow is important because it is the food for our body’s cells. If blood is not getting to all parts of the body then those areas become deficient and may lead to an illness. Excreting waste is also very important so that our bodies can function properly without holding on to unwanted material. Movement is life and when we don’t move on the outside such as physical activities then our bodies have a hard time moving on the inside such as the flow of waste out of the body. Walking is a great and natural form of movement that everybody should do to promote a healthy lifestyle.  What we eat is also important for our li
