Heart Sound Recorder

Hey everyone. I got a short one for you this week.  Our Healthshop on Feb 22nd will be talking about the Heart Sound Recorder. This machine is quite remarkable when it comes to how technology has risen to maximize the effectiveness of checking out the sounds the heart is admitting. Back in the day, the machine used to be the size of a coffee table with 2 rolled up papers on each side of the table. The paper would proceed from one side to the other. There was a needle in the middle of the machine that would work the same way as you would detect earthquakes. The Heart Sound Recorder is going off the vibrations coming from the valves. We look at all four valves: Mitral, Aortic, Tricuspid and Pulmonic. They all have their own distinct ways of opening and closing. This microphone is very sensitive and picks up the sounds from those very little valves that are in the heart. When I do your scan, I mainly look at the Rate, Rhythm and Tone. When we scan your heart we can compare it t...

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation -      Well it looks like we're headed out of the Deep Freeze. I hope that you had a nice weekend enjoying the "warmer" weather . We're definitely not at Spring yet but it looks like we may be going that way. I've heard the robins chirping in the morning so apparently they think Spring is coming. And Easter seems early this year so hopefully those are good signs of warmer weather coming. We are using a lot of Congaplex and Immuplex at the office for our patients as these nutrition's help with strengthening the immune system. Remember that we're here to help with  anyone's immune system strengthening, plus as a side effect, getting the body healthier helps them reduce weight. We're getting a lot of questions about that too.       I don't know about you but I'm starting to get tired of all the Covid stories in the news. There is so much bologna going on there so I've decided to inclu...

How to Improve Zinc Uptake to Boost Immune Health

How to Improve Zinc Uptake to Boost Immune Health Analysis by  Dr. Joseph Mercola STORY AT-A-GLANCE Your immune system is your first line of defense against infectious diseases, and there are many different ways to boost and improve its function Zinc is one nutrient that plays a very important role in your immune system’s ability to ward off viral infections, and may play a vastly underrated role in the COVID-19 pandemic Zinc is vital for healthy immune function and a combination of zinc with a zinc ionophore (zinc transport molecule) was in 2010 shown to block viral replication of SARS coronavirus in a cell culture within minutes Zinc alone is incapable of fully stopping viral replication as it cannot easily enter through the fatty wall of a cell. Getting all the way into the cell is crucial, as this is where the viral replication occurs The antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine appears to work against COVID-19 by improving zinc uptake into cells. Natural zinc ionophor...

Heart Sound Recorder

Wow - what a nice weekend. Sunday sure was nice and the sun is definitely getting stronger. Looks like rain and snow this week for a while but hopefully we’ll get back to good weather. We need more sunshine this time of year and we tell our patients it is even good to go to the suntan booth for 10 minutes a week. This is good to help activate vitamin D and just relax and get warm. Pretend you’re on a beach!             As were still in February, we’re still talking about heart health this month. Don’t forget our upcoming health shop tonight at 6 o’clock here at the office and on Facebook and Instagram. We will be talking about the heart sound recorder which is a great instrument to listen in on the valves of the heart, giving us an insight into what nutrition that person is lacking to strengthen the heart muscle so the valves work correctly. Most people that have valve problems or heart murmurs have a weakened heart muscle and...

Heart Heath and Aspirin

Well it was a fairly nice weekend and temperatures are starting to come up. We had that bad cold snap there to remind us that it’s still winter but it looks like were headed to spring. It sure is nice to see the sun and it’s getting more powerful and the days are getting longer which are good signs that spring is on the way. If you’re having any kind of health issues, now is the time to come into Natural Health and get those handled before we are wanting to go outside in the nicer weather. Folks that have taken antibiotics over the winter, or the medications for coughs and colds, which did not handle the underlying problems, and their body needs to detox. This is why people talk about their colds or flu just hanging on, they have not addressed the immune system.  This is what we do at Natural Health, address underlying issues and get people healthy.             Our February theme is on heart health and we will be talkin...

Heart Sound Recorder

Well we had some sunshine over the weekend. We have definitely had our fair share of gloomy days and snow and rain. We’re starting to see some signs of spring though as the birds are chirping and seeing some geese flying around. I hope that you’re still able to enjoy these days and know that they won’t last too much longer. I’m really starting to look forward to spring and even mowing grass again!             As were well into February and our theme is heart health, we are looking forward to Valentine’s Day. Our topic for this week is Love, which we will be discussing during our health shop at 6 o’clock tonight and it should be very interesting. The article I’ve enclosed is about how just being out in nature helps heart health and general health. It’s one of those free things that is definitely helpful to the body, just like sunshine. Sometimes it’s hard to p...
