Fall Allergy Season

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-

Another beautiful weekend and we got some more rain. Hopefully it’s enough to bring the grass back and green up things again. Even though it’s a little cooler in the morning, I’m not really ready for Fall and what comes afterwards. I’m starting to have more people complain of sinus and allergy symptoms that I think is due to some of the harvest activity kicking up a lot of dust into the air. Don’t forget that we have great products to help the liver drain and keep the lymphatic system cleaned out so that folks don’t have these symptoms. I always try to remind people about hydration issues too, because normally Fall is a little drier and everything is already dry. Also don’t forget that hydration includes good quality water and electrolytes, meaning sea salt or mineral salt or our product called Cal-amo.

Our Health Shop this month is looking at the major disease processes going on in this country and this week were talking about cancer. Cancer has become a big business in the medical world, which is unfortunate, but with all the money rolling in, they feel there is no need to look for the cause, just look for new ways to treat the condition. At Natural Health, we are always looking for the underlying cause of the problem, and if we can, prevent it. Cancer is just a condition of the immune system going awry as there are cancer cells in our bodies all the time, but the immune system picks them up and gets rid of them if it’s working correctly. This is one reason why medical doctors are seeing a good-sized increase in cancer patients from those that have gotten the Covid jab. The jab seems to affect the immune system and weaken it and so the cancer cells that are already there really take off and give their hosts big problems. The old adage of “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” has never been truer here.

The article that I’m sending along looks at the need for vitamin K 2 to help the cardiovascular system. Now I know that people who read that article are going to want to rush out and grab bottles of synthetic K2 and think they are really doing something. This vitamin is important to be sure, but it’s not the only nutrient that helps with the cardiovascular system. And besides that, we need to look at the reason why they have cardiovascular issues in the first place as much as trying to find a treatment that works. We also need to get away from the ideal that one treatment works for one condition and then another treatment for another condition and so on. That’s one of the reasons I see patients come in here on 10, 12, 15 or more medications. Firstly, they haven’t fixed the problem, and secondly, the side effects from the synthetic medications that were never supposed to be used in the body, cause the medics to put them on another medication for another symptom or condition. I know that what insurance pays for but it’s not healthcare, is disease management.

Most People Don't Reach Micronutrient Requirements Through Food Alone

STORY AT-A-GLANCE Most adolescents are not getting adequate nutrient intake from diet alone — a finding confirmed from other studies in developed countries such as Spain, France, Portugal and Germany Three-quarters of adolescents consumed less than 54% of the recommended amounts of healthy foods like fruits, vegetables and dairy products Nearly three-quarters of the youth exceeded the recommended limit for sweet and salty snacks — by 453% When nutrient intake was considered from diet alone, adolescents often consumed less than recommended amounts of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D and E along with the water-soluble vitamins folate, biotin and pantothenic acid The use of dietary supplements helped to increase the adolescents’ intake of vitamins and minerals, particularly magnesium and vitamin C, but this isn’t a replacement for a healthy, nutrient-rich diet While it’s possible to get all the vitamins and minerals your body needs by eating a healthy diet, most people fall short. Enjoy The Show

Hi Natural Health Family! Imagine everyone enjoyed their weekend with some great weather. Did you have a win from last week? Could be something small or a big accomplishment. Whatever it was, I hope it brought you joy in some way. Sometimes life can seem strugglesome, difficult, and overwhelming. We have the ability to reframe the way we see life. Let’s talk about our ability to respond to the way we see the world around us.  Have you ever been watching a tv show or movie and thought “wow there really isn’t anything going on in the show, there are no ups and downs, no twists and turns, it just seems so bland and boring.” Maybe you have thought of that but I would guess that you probably didn’t. The movie with the director, producer, and actors is meant to grab your attention. The director wanted to captivate the audience, of course to sell more movies, but also for the people watching to get lost in the experience of watching the movie. If the movie is really good we almost forget we

A Blessing

Hi Natural Health Family. We got some rain this weekend! It was definitely refreshing and great to see something different. I am sure many of the farmers were happy to see that along with anyone that has grass. Time to mow again haha. Just like waiting for the rain we can be more patient in other aspects of our life.  Have you ever had something happen that you thought was bad or perhaps a mistake by yourself or someone else? However, after perhaps days, weeks, months you look back and realize if that didn’t happen then you would have never realized something that helped you down the road, a blessing in disguise. Many times people get caught up in thinking that this event that happened was so bad or that it should have never happened. When we are quick to judge something then we may keep ourselves from seeing something more clearly. Of course it is okay when we get frustrated from time to time, but then we can redirect ourselves to see whatever happened in a different way we can le
