It's Hot Out There - Stay Hydrated!

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-

I hope that you had a great weekend and are enjoying the heat. It seems to always get hot around the beginning of school time and this year will be no exception. We might as well enjoy the heat because in a few months, it will be different, and then we will be complaining about the cold. Hard to believe right now though-ha. Don’t forget to stay hydrated this week with the higher temperatures. This includes drinking good quality water and don’t forget the electrolytes, like sea salt or mineral salt or one of our favorite products here at Natural Health Cal-Amo.

It seems to be working out very well to have our live health shops at 6: 15 on Monday nights and this month we’re talking about Back to School. This week we’re talking about Health 101 for Kids, we will be talking about the things kids need to be healthy and able to learn at school. We will gear it towards kids but it works for adults too, not only with feeling good but being able to learn and retain information. I hope that the teachers and school administrators don’t forget about hydration for the kids too. I’m old enough to remember salt tablet dispensers next to the water fountains in school. Of course, it was the cheap white junk salt pills, but better than nothing.

The article that I’m sending along this week looks at whatever future pandemics their planning for us and to realize that if we can keep our immune system strong, we don’t need to worry about the bugs. Nature has built in limits on how things work but you must address the immune system and realize what it can do. If our body’s immune system could not stop these bugs, we’d all be dead from the plague or whatever other pandemic has swept through our societies over the millennia. Mainstream medicine seems to be locked into working on the bug side of the coin, with no intention of helping the innate immune system intelligence of our bodies. I read articles where the chemicals in the disinfectant hand soap the people have been using like crazy over the last few years, can cause more cancer and health problems than the bugs ever could. We’ll see that coming up in the next few years. At Natural Health, we work on removing the barriers that people run into that can stop their body from working correctly. These barriers can come from traumas, or shocks to the system, or emotional incidents that put a barrier in the nervous system and the body can’t heal itself. This is why many people have degenerative disease that they control with medication, but of course are not addressing the underlying cause of the problem. We hope to change the paradigm from that of disease management in this country to actually working on and promoting real natural health for all.

Most People Don't Reach Micronutrient Requirements Through Food Alone

STORY AT-A-GLANCE Most adolescents are not getting adequate nutrient intake from diet alone — a finding confirmed from other studies in developed countries such as Spain, France, Portugal and Germany Three-quarters of adolescents consumed less than 54% of the recommended amounts of healthy foods like fruits, vegetables and dairy products Nearly three-quarters of the youth exceeded the recommended limit for sweet and salty snacks — by 453% When nutrient intake was considered from diet alone, adolescents often consumed less than recommended amounts of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D and E along with the water-soluble vitamins folate, biotin and pantothenic acid The use of dietary supplements helped to increase the adolescents’ intake of vitamins and minerals, particularly magnesium and vitamin C, but this isn’t a replacement for a healthy, nutrient-rich diet While it’s possible to get all the vitamins and minerals your body needs by eating a healthy diet, most people fall short. The issu

Enjoy The Show

Hi Natural Health Family! Imagine everyone enjoyed their weekend with some great weather. Did you have a win from last week? Could be something small or a big accomplishment. Whatever it was, I hope it brought you joy in some way. Sometimes life can seem strugglesome, difficult, and overwhelming. We have the ability to reframe the way we see life. Let’s talk about our ability to respond to the way we see the world around us.  Have you ever been watching a tv show or movie and thought “wow there really isn’t anything going on in the show, there are no ups and downs, no twists and turns, it just seems so bland and boring.” Maybe you have thought of that but I would guess that you probably didn’t. The movie with the director, producer, and actors is meant to grab your attention. The director wanted to captivate the audience, of course to sell more movies, but also for the people watching to get lost in the experience of watching the movie. If the movie is really good we almost forget we

A Blessing

Hi Natural Health Family. We got some rain this weekend! It was definitely refreshing and great to see something different. I am sure many of the farmers were happy to see that along with anyone that has grass. Time to mow again haha. Just like waiting for the rain we can be more patient in other aspects of our life.  Have you ever had something happen that you thought was bad or perhaps a mistake by yourself or someone else? However, after perhaps days, weeks, months you look back and realize if that didn’t happen then you would have never realized something that helped you down the road, a blessing in disguise. Many times people get caught up in thinking that this event that happened was so bad or that it should have never happened. When we are quick to judge something then we may keep ourselves from seeing something more clearly. Of course it is okay when we get frustrated from time to time, but then we can redirect ourselves to see whatever happened in a different way we can le
