Side Effects

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-

I hope that you all survived Memorial Day weekend! It was a great weekend with great weather and hope you got some good sunshine but not too much. We did lots of things outside and it was sure nice to be able to enjoy the green grass and the trees looking so nice. We like to have our house open so we get fresh air and we noticed that there was a lot of pollen that had come in, so there is a lot of pollen and dust out there. We have great products at Natural Health to help patients detox from all this dust and pollen and keep “allergy symptoms” at bay. I’m also starting to warn patients about hydration and not only drinking the water that they need every day, but getting the electrolytes, or good quality salt, to help keep their bodies hydrated. There are so many conditions that would be helped if people would just keep themselves hydrated correctly.

We did not have a health shop this week as it landed on Memorial Day, but will have them next Monday and continue on. We are starting the health shops at 6: 15 now live on Facebook and Instagram and will post it to Brighteon.com and YouTube eventually. As were heading into June, our topic will change to that of Men’s Health throughout the month. These Healthshops will still have a lot of general information about health as well as specifics on the topic we talk about. I hope that you can tune in.

The article that I’m sending along this week looks at finding out if you’re overmedicated. In our world, anyone who is on medication is overmedicated. The point here is that people that are taking medication for long periods of time, are not addressing the underlying cause of the problem and that needs to be addressed so you can get off of those chemicals in the medications. We see many people here at Natural Health, that are on 5-10-15 different medications and usually half of them are for side effect symptoms from some of the previous ones. It’s a terrible cycle for these patients to get into and it’s very hard to get off of all that medication, but we help many to do it, it just takes time. Even something as simple as blood pressure medications, that if people do not realize it, and they race into the doctor’s office and have the blood pressure taken, it will normally be high because you’re not looking at a resting blood pressure, and they just stay on medication or add more medication. We know that one of the main side effects of long-term use of blood pressure medication is congestive heart failure, because you’re not fixing the underlying cause of the problem and actually making it worse. The major point here is that people need to find out the underlying cause of health issues and not cover them up with medication. We are here to help with that at Natural Health.

Most People Don't Reach Micronutrient Requirements Through Food Alone

STORY AT-A-GLANCE Most adolescents are not getting adequate nutrient intake from diet alone — a finding confirmed from other studies in developed countries such as Spain, France, Portugal and Germany Three-quarters of adolescents consumed less than 54% of the recommended amounts of healthy foods like fruits, vegetables and dairy products Nearly three-quarters of the youth exceeded the recommended limit for sweet and salty snacks — by 453% When nutrient intake was considered from diet alone, adolescents often consumed less than recommended amounts of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D and E along with the water-soluble vitamins folate, biotin and pantothenic acid The use of dietary supplements helped to increase the adolescents’ intake of vitamins and minerals, particularly magnesium and vitamin C, but this isn’t a replacement for a healthy, nutrient-rich diet While it’s possible to get all the vitamins and minerals your body needs by eating a healthy diet, most people fall short. Enjoy The Show

Hi Natural Health Family! Imagine everyone enjoyed their weekend with some great weather. Did you have a win from last week? Could be something small or a big accomplishment. Whatever it was, I hope it brought you joy in some way. Sometimes life can seem strugglesome, difficult, and overwhelming. We have the ability to reframe the way we see life. Let’s talk about our ability to respond to the way we see the world around us.  Have you ever been watching a tv show or movie and thought “wow there really isn’t anything going on in the show, there are no ups and downs, no twists and turns, it just seems so bland and boring.” Maybe you have thought of that but I would guess that you probably didn’t. The movie with the director, producer, and actors is meant to grab your attention. The director wanted to captivate the audience, of course to sell more movies, but also for the people watching to get lost in the experience of watching the movie. If the movie is really good we almost forget we

A Blessing

Hi Natural Health Family. We got some rain this weekend! It was definitely refreshing and great to see something different. I am sure many of the farmers were happy to see that along with anyone that has grass. Time to mow again haha. Just like waiting for the rain we can be more patient in other aspects of our life.  Have you ever had something happen that you thought was bad or perhaps a mistake by yourself or someone else? However, after perhaps days, weeks, months you look back and realize if that didn’t happen then you would have never realized something that helped you down the road, a blessing in disguise. Many times people get caught up in thinking that this event that happened was so bad or that it should have never happened. When we are quick to judge something then we may keep ourselves from seeing something more clearly. Of course it is okay when we get frustrated from time to time, but then we can redirect ourselves to see whatever happened in a different way we can le
