Meaning

Hi everyone! I hope the Natural Health Family is doing well. Over the weekend I went to Palmer (the chiropractic college that I graduated from) and took classes which helped me see things a bit differently. One class in particular talked about how different brands such as the ones you see on tv can affect the way we go about buying certain products.  We all know the many popular brand names out there. That could be Nike, Adidas, Starbucks, Reebok, McDonald’s, Campbells, the north face, etc. All these we know because they have been promoted well on television. However, everyone reacts differently when they are exposed to any of these brands. That is because we all have a different experience with them. It is mainly due to the meaning we give the names. Some people will like certain brands and some will not. This could be from various reasons due to what we have experienced in the past. For instance it could be that when you see a Campbells can such as tomato soup then you hav...

Ready For Fall?

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-                 Karen and I were in Denver Colorado for a seminar this weekend and it sounds like, and looks like, you got some rain over the weekend in this area. I think our rain gauge at the house had 2 inches in it, so that’s great because we were really needing it. I noticed the air seems a lot cleaner and that the pollen has been flushed out. I hope that it greens up some before winter gets here but it’s the end of the growing season so we’ll see. It seems like when we came back from the airport, things looked browner than I remembered when we left and that the beans and corn seem to be turning rapidly. Even some of the trees are starting to turn their leaves from green to yellow. I always like fall as a season but don’t really like what comes afterwards. The joys of living in the Midwest!             ...

White Pepper Versus Black Pepper: Which Is Better?

STORY AT-A-GLANCE Both white and black pepper are made from peppercorns of the piper nigrum plant Black peppercorns are made using the unripe berries, which are then cooked and dried; white peppercorns begin similarly, but are picked fully ripe, soaked to soften and the outer skin is removed, leaving the white seed behind Both white and black pepper contain similar amounts of piperine, the substance responsible for their pungency and heat, as well as many of their health benefits Some recipes call for white pepper in lieu of black simply to keep a light-colored appearance in the final dish for purposes of visual appeal There are subtle differences in flavor among the different colored peppercorns, with black being the most pungent and white having an earthier flavor As for which is better, that’s a personal choice, as both black and white pepper have great value in your diet Pepper is the most traded spice in the world, accounting for one-fifth of all imported spices worldwide. Listening

Hello again Natural Health Family. I hope you enjoyed the great weather over the weekend. Last weekend I was able to play golf and raise money for a charity. I also celebrated my grandparents 65th wedding anniversary. Something that has been coming up more for me is listening and how we interact with others and the world around us. Let’s explore the topic of listening.  What kind of music do you like to listen to? What really gets your gears going? Is it country music, rock and roll, classic rock, heavy metal, hip hop, rap, jazz, the blues, alternative, maybe disco? Whatever it is, I bet that when you listen to it you get a certain feeling. Perhaps your body moves to the beat or rhythm of the song. When you listen, are you trying to think of anything else? Sometimes when we listen to music we really get into it and get lost in it. It is usually because we are not trying to do anything else, be anywhere else, think about something else, etc. Music is fun in that way but we ...

Rain... Finally!

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-                 Another beautiful weekend and we finally got some rain. I was so thankful to get some rain and clear the air out some. We have a gravel road nearby and the dust was incredible. Thankfully that’s all settled down and hopefully will get rains coming more often. The rain also helped to clear the air of a lot of the fall flower and weed pollen and that should help folks with sinus issues. But this morning is pretty cold so were headed into that type of weather soon and will be thinking about supplementing for immune system support over the winter. I don’t even like saying that word-ha.                 Don’t forget about our health shops that we have on Monday evening. They are live at 6:15 on Instagram and Facebook and then we will post them to Brighteon.com and YouTube. This m...

Data Leak Reveals Disturbing Facts About mRNA Instability

STORY AT-A-GLANCE The reason health officials don’t want individual vaccine vials examined by independent scientists is because the vials are all different — and the mRNA in the shots is not intact For an effective mRNA product, the mRNA integrity needs to be 100%, meaning all the RNA must be intact. Considering how ineffective the jabs are, it seems fair to question whether lack of mRNA integrity might be to blame Fragmented RNA could potentially also be hazardous to health by generating incomplete spike proteins. While we do not know if incomplete spike proteins are dangerous, it’s possible they might contribute to cellular stress The “bad batch” phenomenon may also be indicative of quality problems. Independent investigations have revealed that some lots of the shots are associated with very severe side effects and death, whereas other lots have very few or no adverse events associated with their use However, the fact that “hot” lots are being released in a coordinated fashion...

Happy Labor Day!

Welcome back Natural Health Family. How was everyone’s Labor Day Weekend? I hope it went well with either getting things done you have been wanting to or not laboring much at all. Although we may write it off as a holiday and getting some time off, Labor Day represents the achievements of those before us who put in the work to make this country the way it is. Let’s talk about work and possibly shift our way of looking at it.  When you think of work what goes through your head? Is it something you may not want to do at times, money for expenses, being able to help people, getting to see others, a bridge to other possibilities, etc? Work may have some negative connotations. We typically look forward to the weekend because we have been working a lot during the week. Sometimes work can become busy, tiresome and even seem overwhelming. However, when we view it in different ways it can help us do what needs to be done in a more efficient and enjoyable manner. So what if instead ...
