Women's Health and Seed Oils

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-

What a beautiful weekend! We had some very nice temperatures and even got a little rain in there, which will help keep the grass green and growing. This is a great time of year as everything is green and growing and the trees look so nice. By my house is a field of grass and it looks so nice and green now. As we get into middle and late summer, it dries out and turns brown so it’s so nice to enjoy the green grass blowing in the wind. There is a lot of pollen out there and before the rain, lots of dust. We have lots of great products here at Natural Health to help the body eliminate pollen and dust and stop allergy symptoms.

In our Health Shop and Patient education workshop, we will be talking about women’s health issues, which basically pertains to everyone as we keep it fairly general so everyone can get something out of these events. Just remember that the fourth Monday of the month is our Health Shop that we will have live on Facebook and Instagram, and then putting it on YouTube and Brighteon.com eventually. There are so many things to know about actually being healthy and it makes sense if you just think about it. It really isn’t too hard to do but you must unlearn a lot of the commercial advertising you’ve heard over the last decades, and realize that that was just advertising for products and not actually health news. We have a great handout here at the office called Medical Myths, and it seems to be a crowd favorite as the folks we hand this out to really enjoy the information. Big Food has really spent a lot of time and money marketing their products and it seems hard to separate the actual facts from the plain advertising and marketing.

The article that I’m sending along this week looks at the problems with seed oils and this is a perfect example of the BS that we have heard since the 50s. After Pres. Eisenhower’s heart attack, the medical geniuses decided that the problem was saturated fats, which of course it wasn’t, and they have been attacking that forever and got many people to switch to seed oils, which is exactly the wrong thing to do for health. The seed oils were first started as machinery oil and they are not meant for our bodies to consume. The big thing the Manufacturers liked is that these seed oils would stay on the shelves for a long time and not go rancid, which made them more money but made our health worse. Crisco and margarine fall into these bad oil categories and you can imagine how many people have eaten baked goods with these two health destroyers. Believe it or not, the good oils include butter, lard, tallow, coconut oil, and olive oil. We’ve been lied to for decades and the health of this country really shows it.

Most People Don't Reach Micronutrient Requirements Through Food Alone

STORY AT-A-GLANCE Most adolescents are not getting adequate nutrient intake from diet alone — a finding confirmed from other studies in developed countries such as Spain, France, Portugal and Germany Three-quarters of adolescents consumed less than 54% of the recommended amounts of healthy foods like fruits, vegetables and dairy products Nearly three-quarters of the youth exceeded the recommended limit for sweet and salty snacks — by 453% When nutrient intake was considered from diet alone, adolescents often consumed less than recommended amounts of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D and E along with the water-soluble vitamins folate, biotin and pantothenic acid The use of dietary supplements helped to increase the adolescents’ intake of vitamins and minerals, particularly magnesium and vitamin C, but this isn’t a replacement for a healthy, nutrient-rich diet While it’s possible to get all the vitamins and minerals your body needs by eating a healthy diet, most people fall short. Enjoy The Show

Hi Natural Health Family! Imagine everyone enjoyed their weekend with some great weather. Did you have a win from last week? Could be something small or a big accomplishment. Whatever it was, I hope it brought you joy in some way. Sometimes life can seem strugglesome, difficult, and overwhelming. We have the ability to reframe the way we see life. Let’s talk about our ability to respond to the way we see the world around us.  Have you ever been watching a tv show or movie and thought “wow there really isn’t anything going on in the show, there are no ups and downs, no twists and turns, it just seems so bland and boring.” Maybe you have thought of that but I would guess that you probably didn’t. The movie with the director, producer, and actors is meant to grab your attention. The director wanted to captivate the audience, of course to sell more movies, but also for the people watching to get lost in the experience of watching the movie. If the movie is really good we almost forget we

A Blessing

Hi Natural Health Family. We got some rain this weekend! It was definitely refreshing and great to see something different. I am sure many of the farmers were happy to see that along with anyone that has grass. Time to mow again haha. Just like waiting for the rain we can be more patient in other aspects of our life.  Have you ever had something happen that you thought was bad or perhaps a mistake by yourself or someone else? However, after perhaps days, weeks, months you look back and realize if that didn’t happen then you would have never realized something that helped you down the road, a blessing in disguise. Many times people get caught up in thinking that this event that happened was so bad or that it should have never happened. When we are quick to judge something then we may keep ourselves from seeing something more clearly. Of course it is okay when we get frustrated from time to time, but then we can redirect ourselves to see whatever happened in a different way we can le
