Choice in Healthcare

Hello Everyone In Natural Health Nation-

I hope that you were able to enjoy the nice weekend. It was a lot of different kind of weather, we had hot and cool and some wind and rain so something for everyone. As it’s warmed up and we’ve gotten some rain, I’ve noticed that the tree leaves are almost grown out. It’s so nice to see everything green and growing but sometimes hard to keep up with the grass mowing. Many people are noticing all the pollen around and the unstable weather seems to add to the allergy symptoms. We have many great nutritional strategies to help with allergy symptoms and keep people healthy. We even have some strategies for helping with the bug bites that people get this time of year. At Natural Health, we are here to help with almost any condition and just help the body to be healthy with whatever it needs.

The Monday this week is when we will do our second Patient Education Workshop for the month. We are finding, though, that it seems after all this covid stuff and lockdown business, many people do not want to come out in the evening and just enjoy staying home. This is why we have put many of our procedures in videos and put them on our website at   naturalhealthquincy.com. We will probably change our schedule around soon and just have one Patient Education Workshop live at the office so anyone that wants to come in to ask questions or see what we do will have that opportunity. We are looking at doing another video night and putting that on YouTube and Facebook and Instagram and Brighteon.com. We will let you know more about that later. We’re just trying to find the best way to get information to people so that they know there is a choice in healthcare and they can try to be healthy rather than waiting for a disease to show up and go under disease management care.

The article that I’m sending along looks at the use of cranberries for urinary tract infections. This is not new information but it’s important for people to realize that you can do something about this and not just go on antibiotics, which usually cause yeast infections later. The interesting thing with cranberries is that it is mostly just the acid in the cranberries that helps to change the pH in the urinary system and that can be done with other things too. Staying hydrated and using sea salt or mineral salt Can Help Acidify the pH As Well. Apple Cider Vinegar Does a Similar Thing and Synthetic Vitamin C Also Increases Acidity in the Urinary Tract. There Are so Many Good Things like This Available for People and It Keeps Them from Causing Themselves More Problems with Antibiotics and Medications. At Natural Health, Not Only Are We Helping Patients with Their Health Situations, but Helping to Prevent Future Problems Which Can Blossom into Life-Threatening Issues Later on down the Road.

Most People Don't Reach Micronutrient Requirements Through Food Alone

STORY AT-A-GLANCE Most adolescents are not getting adequate nutrient intake from diet alone — a finding confirmed from other studies in developed countries such as Spain, France, Portugal and Germany Three-quarters of adolescents consumed less than 54% of the recommended amounts of healthy foods like fruits, vegetables and dairy products Nearly three-quarters of the youth exceeded the recommended limit for sweet and salty snacks — by 453% When nutrient intake was considered from diet alone, adolescents often consumed less than recommended amounts of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D and E along with the water-soluble vitamins folate, biotin and pantothenic acid The use of dietary supplements helped to increase the adolescents’ intake of vitamins and minerals, particularly magnesium and vitamin C, but this isn’t a replacement for a healthy, nutrient-rich diet While it’s possible to get all the vitamins and minerals your body needs by eating a healthy diet, most people fall short. Enjoy The Show

Hi Natural Health Family! Imagine everyone enjoyed their weekend with some great weather. Did you have a win from last week? Could be something small or a big accomplishment. Whatever it was, I hope it brought you joy in some way. Sometimes life can seem strugglesome, difficult, and overwhelming. We have the ability to reframe the way we see life. Let’s talk about our ability to respond to the way we see the world around us.  Have you ever been watching a tv show or movie and thought “wow there really isn’t anything going on in the show, there are no ups and downs, no twists and turns, it just seems so bland and boring.” Maybe you have thought of that but I would guess that you probably didn’t. The movie with the director, producer, and actors is meant to grab your attention. The director wanted to captivate the audience, of course to sell more movies, but also for the people watching to get lost in the experience of watching the movie. If the movie is really good we almost forget we

A Blessing

Hi Natural Health Family. We got some rain this weekend! It was definitely refreshing and great to see something different. I am sure many of the farmers were happy to see that along with anyone that has grass. Time to mow again haha. Just like waiting for the rain we can be more patient in other aspects of our life.  Have you ever had something happen that you thought was bad or perhaps a mistake by yourself or someone else? However, after perhaps days, weeks, months you look back and realize if that didn’t happen then you would have never realized something that helped you down the road, a blessing in disguise. Many times people get caught up in thinking that this event that happened was so bad or that it should have never happened. When we are quick to judge something then we may keep ourselves from seeing something more clearly. Of course it is okay when we get frustrated from time to time, but then we can redirect ourselves to see whatever happened in a different way we can le
