Fall Allergies

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-

Another beautiful weekend but we missed some rain chances. Our area sure is dry and dusty and I hope we get some rain soon to wash the pollen out of the air and settle the dust. The fall flowers, or weeds, are in bloom along with the corn pollinating and the beans soon, so there is lots of pollen out there to irritate the eyes and sinuses. We have some great supplements here at the office to help with drainage and in helping the body to clear these irritants. I kind of hate to wish for rain too much because once it starts, it seems to have a hard time shutting back off.

In our health shops this month were talking about Back to School topics and this week were talking about Kids Foods and Moods. We talked in earlier health shops this month about how food is so important for kids to be able to learn correctly this definitely affects their mood as well. Again, as we present our health shop this week, much of the information will be general and everyone will get some good information from it, besides just the parents of school aged kids. We will present our health shop live at 6:15 on Instagram and Facebook and then eventually post it to Brighteon.com and Facebook. It’s all good information that will help anyone who watches it be healthier as we strive to work towards a more naturally healthy world and stay away from all the medications, if possible.

The article that I’m sending along this week looks at the importance of gratitude in your daily thought processes. It’s very easy to get caught up in all the things that don’t go right, but in this country especially, we should all be very thankful for what we have and how were doing. I don’t want to get into politics, but it seems were losing some of our freedoms and hopefully, folks will wake up to this peril and realize how good we’ve had it in this country for decades. Our health can suffer if we are constantly “down in the dumps” or worried about all kinds of problems. Instead of focusing on that, we should try to focus on the things that are positive in our life and be thankful for those things and for the people we come across that even just smile at us. I know that I am very grateful for being able to help patients find true health and get them off of medications that are making them have side effect symptoms of one form or another. I am very grateful to have found the knowledge to be able to help our patients over four decades of practice and learning.

Most People Don't Reach Micronutrient Requirements Through Food Alone

STORY AT-A-GLANCE Most adolescents are not getting adequate nutrient intake from diet alone — a finding confirmed from other studies in developed countries such as Spain, France, Portugal and Germany Three-quarters of adolescents consumed less than 54% of the recommended amounts of healthy foods like fruits, vegetables and dairy products Nearly three-quarters of the youth exceeded the recommended limit for sweet and salty snacks — by 453% When nutrient intake was considered from diet alone, adolescents often consumed less than recommended amounts of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D and E along with the water-soluble vitamins folate, biotin and pantothenic acid The use of dietary supplements helped to increase the adolescents’ intake of vitamins and minerals, particularly magnesium and vitamin C, but this isn’t a replacement for a healthy, nutrient-rich diet While it’s possible to get all the vitamins and minerals your body needs by eating a healthy diet, most people fall short. Enjoy The Show

Hi Natural Health Family! Imagine everyone enjoyed their weekend with some great weather. Did you have a win from last week? Could be something small or a big accomplishment. Whatever it was, I hope it brought you joy in some way. Sometimes life can seem strugglesome, difficult, and overwhelming. We have the ability to reframe the way we see life. Let’s talk about our ability to respond to the way we see the world around us.  Have you ever been watching a tv show or movie and thought “wow there really isn’t anything going on in the show, there are no ups and downs, no twists and turns, it just seems so bland and boring.” Maybe you have thought of that but I would guess that you probably didn’t. The movie with the director, producer, and actors is meant to grab your attention. The director wanted to captivate the audience, of course to sell more movies, but also for the people watching to get lost in the experience of watching the movie. If the movie is really good we almost forget we

A Blessing

Hi Natural Health Family. We got some rain this weekend! It was definitely refreshing and great to see something different. I am sure many of the farmers were happy to see that along with anyone that has grass. Time to mow again haha. Just like waiting for the rain we can be more patient in other aspects of our life.  Have you ever had something happen that you thought was bad or perhaps a mistake by yourself or someone else? However, after perhaps days, weeks, months you look back and realize if that didn’t happen then you would have never realized something that helped you down the road, a blessing in disguise. Many times people get caught up in thinking that this event that happened was so bad or that it should have never happened. When we are quick to judge something then we may keep ourselves from seeing something more clearly. Of course it is okay when we get frustrated from time to time, but then we can redirect ourselves to see whatever happened in a different way we can le
