Rainy Weather and Sinuses

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation      Well, we're getting caught up in our moisture for the year. Even the gardens will have had enough moisture now to get  the produce grown and ripened. Even the melons will have enough water to grow and the  grass is back to green and growing. I'm sure we'll have some dry times here in late summer and fall but for now we're in good shape. I think it's much better to have too much rain rather than too little but we've had enough for sure. Hopefully your basement is dry and the mold that usually comes with this much moisture, is not bothering you. We have lots of products here at the office to help with sinus congestion, which basically means the liver is a little overloaded. We are here to help you not be drippy.      I'm including an article that looks at the suppression of a viral drug. I know that we cannot prescribe medication here at Natural Health but the point is that there are...

The Deadly Censorship of Ivermectin

STORY AT-A-GLANCE If the World Health Organization has been captured by Big Pharma and is putting out information that goes against medical science, then public health is at grave risk While the WHO insists large randomized controlled trials (RCTs) must be completed before ivermectin can be recommended, RCTs actually are not the gold standard in terms of scientific evidence. Meta-analyses are A meta-analysis of 24 RCTs clearly demonstrates that ivermectin produces large statistically significant reductions in mortality, time to clinical recovery, and time to viral clearance Ivermectin distribution campaigns have also resulted in rapid population-wide decreases in morbidity and mortality, which indicate that ivermectin is effective in all phases of COVID-19 While the WHO and world governments are willing to roll the dice when it comes to the novel COVID shots, they insist on ridiculously high standards of safety and effectiveness when it comes to off-patent drugs that have decades...

Our Mind Matters

We are back! I imagine everyone had some fun during the weekend or at least was able to get done what they wanted to get done. Today I wanted to share something that I have picked up and learned over the past couple years. Many times people go out of their way to persuade or influence others. This of course may be due to caring for others and wanting the best for them. However, we may be interfering with others' lives not knowing that we may not know what is best for them. This causes us to expend our energy without any progress in our efforts. Let’s talk about how minding one's own business may actually be a good thing.  What do you think about when you hear the phrase “mind your own business.” You may think about a past moment when someone told you this after asking about what is going on. Many people have a negative association of this phrase because it makes us feel we can’t socialize or express ourselves. People have a need or desire to connect with others and know wh...

Lessons Learned

Greetings Natural Health Family. I imagine everyone had a great Independence Day weekend. Today I wanted to talk about the different ways people can view the world. Last weekend we were able to be with friends and family. Perhaps we were able to see some fireworks. As kids, watching fireworks gave us a sense of awe. When we grow older we can get caught up in thinking about the other things we have to do. However, when we are able to be more present in our lives we can appreciate life more.  Many times, when we are not present, our minds may get stuck in past thoughts of what we could have done to make a situation better. When we can shift or switch our mindset even subtly it can help us to be more present in our lives. When we think of any past events or happenings that didn’t go the way we thought it would, we can think from trying to change it to learning all we can from it. There are many successful people that have said multiple times that their biggest failures were t...

What About Artificial Sweeteners?

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation -      I hope that you had a great 4th of July  and enjoyed the fireworks. What beautiful weather for this weekend. I don't remember too many fourth of July's being this nice. Usually it's very hot but it was great this year. As it starts to get warmer, don't forget to stay hydrated and use sea salt and lemon juice to keep the electrolyte levels in your body in good shape. Especially if you notice leg cramps or being very tired, you are low on salt. I hope we will keep the nicer temperatures for a while but I'm sure it will get hot eventually.      The article that I'm including looks at problems with artificial sweeteners. We have been led to believe that they help with weight and are just as safe as regular sugar but that is just not true. We find that in the office here, folks that have used artificial sweeteners will have more problems with weight and other health issues as well. It...

How Artificial Sweeteners Destroy Your Gut

STORY AT-A-GLANCE New evidence shows artificial sweeteners can change beneficial bacteria in your gut into pathogens that attach, invade and penetrate the intestinal wall, potentially contributing to inflammation, infection and sepsis Artificial sweeteners are advertised as zero-calorie options to help reduce weight and lower the risk of diabetes. However, studies have linked these to an increased risk of diabetes, obesity and metabolic syndrome Animal studies demonstrate artificial sweeteners damage the DNA in healthy gut bacteria, increase the risk of early death, affect neurobehavioral health and may trigger liver damage Consider alternatives for low-calorie artificial sweeteners and sugar, including stevia, Lo Han Kuo and allulose After years of investigation about the dangers of artificial sweeteners, I wrote my book, “Sweet Deception: Why Splenda, NutraSweet, and the FDA May Be Hazardous to Your Health,” and published it in 2006. Since then I’ve been warning about the ever-...

Appreciation

Hello again Natural Health Family. Over the weekend I had the chance to talk to an older age group and see a different perspective on aspects of life. I listened to what they had gone through in their lives and how it allowed them to view the world through a different lens. Today I wanted to talk about appreciation and how looking at life differently can help us.  Life is quite an amazing journey. When we look back we can see all the trials and tribulations that have led us to where we are today. However, many times people get caught up looking at all the issues that happened in their lives. They see all the chaos in the world and think why all this wrong is happening. They start to criticize and blame situations in life and see themselves as a victim. People can fall into this habit of thinking because of all the information out there. Our minds tend to focus not on the good but on the bad. This is because the mind tries to focus on survival and how to avoid danger. This wa...
