Respond

Hello again Natural Health Family. We are in that fun Midwest season where it can feel like it’s summer one day then winter the next. The changes in the weather help you to appreciate the other side especially as it will get warmer. We may not be able to control different things like the weather, but we do have the ability to control how we are able to respond to it.  In today’s day and age we have the most information available to us than we have had in many years. This can be a great way to access information when we need to through our devices. We also want to maintain our own faculties to help us through life. When the internet was first coming out, newspaper headlines were saying that it would never take off. However, we now realize that everyone uses it somehow, whether it is for entertainment, business, or anything else needed to go through life. We are now in a digital age and it can be easy to give all our attention to it. Although it is not good or bad, it can in...

Midwest Weather

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-                 Well, this last weekend wasn’t near as nice as the one before. It’s amazing how fast you get used to the warmer temperatures and now, it seems cold when it gets below 50. And the wind didn’t help much either. I went to an outside wedding this weekend and it sure seemed cold there. Of course, I didn’t bring enough close or gloves so it’s partly my fault. It makes a big difference if you’re just going from the house to the car and back, or if you’re sitting out in the cold for an hour or so. We’ve already had a couple folks coming in today with colds and sniffles from being out in the cold and not wearing enough warm clothes. It’s just part of Spring and we’ll figure it out eventually.                 This week we will actually have our health shop which we’ll put on Instagr...

Dark Chocolate Reduces Stress and Inflammation, Boosts Memory

STORY AT-A-GLANCE When it comes to chocolate, its cacao content — which is bitter, not sweet — the amount of sugar added, and the processing chocolate undergoes, makes a huge difference in terms of whether it has any health benefits Raw cacao gets its bitter taste from the polyphenols present, and these plant compounds are also responsible for most of the health benefits associated with dark chocolate The cacao bean contains hundreds of naturally occurring compounds, including epicatechin, resveratrol — two powerful antioxidants — phenylethylamine (which boosts mood) and theobromine, which has effects similar to that of caffeine Human trial data reveal chocolate helps improve stress levels, inflammation, mood, memory and immune function, but it must contain at least 70% cacao and be sweetened with organic cane sugar A number of other studies have confirmed cacao can benefit your heart, blood vessels, brain and nervous system, and helps combat diabetes and other conditions rooted ...

Beef Producers Panic Over mRNA Vaccine News

STORY AT-A-GLANCE Pork producers have been using customizable mRNA-based “vaccines” on their herds since 2018, without telling the public All customized mRNA “vaccines” are untested. Only the mRNA platform itself has been approved According to the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, “there are no current mRNA vaccines licensed for use in beef cattle in the United States.” However, a lobbyist for the association claims to have “double-vaccinated” his own herd with an mRNA “vaccine” against bovine respiratory disease Iowa State University began trialing an mRNA “vaccine” against bovine respiratory syncytial virus October 1, 2021 Missouri House Bill 1169 would require labeling of products that can alter your genes. Big Ag lobbyists strongly oppose it Last week, I reported that  pork producers have been using customizable mRNA-based "vaccines"  on their herds since 2018 1  — without telling the public. This issue really only rose to the surface after attorney Tom Re...

Your Health and mRNA Shots

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-                I hope that you had an enjoyable weekend, even though it was a little stormy and cold. It seems that were done with Summer weather for a while and back to Spring. It sure keeps your clothing choices interesting and tough to decide which coat to wear. It’s great to see the grass growing and the flowers coming up but it seems like the trees are taking quite a bit longer to get leaves on. Maybe they are smarter than the rest of us-ha. One of these days it will warm up though, and we will be ready for Summer. Don’t forget to use sea salt with the liquids you drink to keep yourself hydrated. Eventually it will get hot again.                This week is another Patient Education Workshop so keep that in mind when talking to other folks that may need our help to get them healthy. In our Patient...

A Part Of The Process

Hi Natural Health Family. Hope all is well. We are definitely getting some big changes in the weather. One day being around 80 and then in the 40s, welcome to the Midwest . We all know that as time goes on the weather will balance out more and stay warm. Let’s discuss some of the changes that we may go through. I am sure we have all been through a time where we wanted or had to do something new or different and it seemed a little scary. You can probably think of a time when you were younger, when you were either trying out for a new sport, your siblings dared you to do something, or maybe it was your first speech in front of a group of people. Whatever it was, you likely felt a little nervous to start. It was something that pushed you out of your familiar or comfort level. However, you managed to take it a step at a time or you jumped in not knowing how it was all going to go but did it anyway. Of course as we grow up we have some more responsibility with the choices we make in...

Take A Breath

Hello Natural Health Family. I hope everyone's enjoying their week. This will be short again but I believe it will be helpful to anyone who is dealing with stress (haha). When we think about our problems we sometimes may come to the conclusion that they are greater than others’ issues. However, we can see it as being relative. Many times we wouldn’t want to be in another person’s shoes anyways. We all have our burdens to deal with or overcome so remember to be easy on others and yourself. Stress is an interesting term. People find that it is something that makes their day worse or influences their body in a negative way. Now I am not saying this is right or wrong. However, I would say that it is our relationship with it that can be helpful. Some things that stress one person may not stress another. Nevertheless, when we see stress as something that helps us grow rather than something we must try to avoid, we allow ourselves to lessen the stress and move forward. When people w...
