Legislative Alert -Medical Freedom Is At Risk

This is a special email Alert for those who have the time and are interested. We are losing our Medical freedom in this state quickly and now is the time to act. Please look at the following information and contact your Congressman to oppose these two bills. Some of the links are a bit off and some of the email addresses are actually websites that you have to click on "Contact Us" and then send your message. At Natural Health, we are not anti vax but are pro Health. Parents should be able to make an informed decision about how their children are treated. We deal with kids that are vaccine damaged in the office and know that it's not all " wine and roses" in the vaccine world. Please take a minute or two to express your opinion to your congressmen.   Here is a sample of the letter I sent to mine -  Dear             I am writing today to express my opposition to 2 b...

What is epigentics?

T ime for another exciting post! Today I will discuss what has been on my mind for a while now. I have been thinking about the many ideas we have been told in the past of how our bodies function and our health. There are many things that we have been led to believe that has made us become victims of our lives. We were told that old dogs can’t learn new tricks. We were told that our brains don’t change and that they are permanent when we grow up. We were told our genes dictate our health and that eventually we will have the same issues as our relatives. This information was what researchers and scientists knew at the time and what they believed in the past. However, new science and research is showing those old beliefs couldn’t be further from the truth.  Have you ever heard of the word “epigenetics” ? We all have heard of genetics but epigenetics is showing more of why we are more in control of our health destiny than we think. In the word epigenetics, “epi” means above. This ...

Heart Sound Recorder

Wow - what a nice weekend. Sunday sure was nice and the sun is definitely getting stronger. Looks like rain and snow this week for a while but hopefully we’ll get back to good weather. We need more sunshine this time of year and we tell our patients it is even good to go to the suntan booth for 10 minutes a week. This is good to help activate vitamin D and just relax and get warm. Pretend you’re on a beach!             As were still in February, we’re still talking about heart health this month. Don’t forget our upcoming health shop tonight at 6 o’clock here at the office and on Facebook and Instagram. We will be talking about the heart sound recorder which is a great instrument to listen in on the valves of the heart, giving us an insight into what nutrition that person is lacking to strengthen the heart muscle so the valves work correctly. Most people that have valve problems or heart murmurs have a weakened heart muscle and...

Beta-hydroxybutyrate is generated in your liver when you fast or eat a ketogenic diet February 2, 2020, Richard L. Veech, M.D., Ph.D., passed away. He was 84. According to reports, he “died quietly in his sleep.” 1  Veech has earned a place in medical history as a leader and pioneer of the ketogenic diet, having spent more than 50 years studying human metabolism as a biochemist. I deeply regret not having interviewed him as he was a giant in the field. I was intimated by his pedigree and vast ...

Stress - The Big Elephant

Hi everyone! Today we are going to stem off of our last post about stress. We talked last time about the three T’s, the thoughts, traumas, and toxins. So let's talk now about what the stress leads to in the body, the big “ELEPHANT” in the room. What I am of course talking about is the media scare of Inflammation . The body produces inflammation to heal itself. Think about an injury you might have had such as spraining an ankle. In acute situations, that inflammation is necessary to heal the area. The body swells the area bringing in more nutrient rich blood, healing hormones, and other substances so that the ankle can self heal and self regulate itself. The inflammation in that case is vital to stop you from damaging the area any more. The body also cleans that area of any damaged tissue and repairs the ligaments and tissues. After all the healing takes place and you get back to your life, eventually you live like you never had the issue. However, when you have chronic inflammatio...

Daily Aspirin — Healthy or Harmful?

Daily Aspirin — Healthy or Harmful? Analysis by  Dr. Joseph Mercola STORY AT-A-GLANCE Prophylactic aspirin use in adults over the age of 70 is potentially harmful, primarily due to the increased risk of bleeding in this age group. Long-term low-dose aspirin therapy nearly doubles your risk for gastrointestinal bleeding In adults younger than 40, there is insufficient evidence to judge the risk-benefit ratio of routine aspirin for the primary prevention of heart disease While daily aspirin is still recommended for people with heart disease to lower the risk of another heart attack or stroke, previous studies have cast doubt on the effectiveness of this approach as well You may be able to achieve the same kind of cardiovascular protection by donating blood. The bleeding caused by aspirin may be part of why it lowers your risk of heart attack and stroke, as bleeding will lower your iron level. People taking seven aspirins per week have been shown to have 25% lower mean ser...
