Happy New Year

Hopefully you all survived Christmas and some of the foods that you got a hold of-ha. Many of the food diaries that I’ve seen lately have some not so good foods on them but I realize it’s the holidays and you have to try what other people bring. Just like an alcoholic, a sugarholic just needs to get back on the wagon if there has been a relapse. Sugar is just as addictive as alcohol and the problem with the holidays is that it is a societal way of getting hooked back onto eating sugar and processed foods. We all want to be healthier in 2020 so get back on the ketogenic type diet. If you have problems, just give us a call here at Natural Health and we will work you through it.

I’ll try to keep this weeks letter short as were all still working on holiday season timeline. The article that I’ve included looks at using simple household items for cleaners instead of buying stuff that has more toxic chemicals in it. The underlying point is that we have been advertised and hoodwinked into buying stuff that we could use much simpler and cheaper substitutes for. We will talk a lot more about this in 2020 in our upcoming health shops on Monday nights at 6 o’clock. Hope to see you there and wishing you a very healthy 2020.

From all of us here at Natural Health, we hope you enjoyed your Christmas day and celebrations and we wish you a very Happy New Year! Please remember us if you’re talking to folks who are not healthy. Let them know that we are here to help not only reduce the pain and suffering there in, but also reduce the expenses they incur with medical treatment. Our goal for 2020 and beyond is to help change the healthcare paradigm from that of disease management to true and natural health care. Help us out if you can!

Most People Don't Reach Micronutrient Requirements Through Food Alone

STORY AT-A-GLANCE Most adolescents are not getting adequate nutrient intake from diet alone — a finding confirmed from other studies in developed countries such as Spain, France, Portugal and Germany Three-quarters of adolescents consumed less than 54% of the recommended amounts of healthy foods like fruits, vegetables and dairy products Nearly three-quarters of the youth exceeded the recommended limit for sweet and salty snacks — by 453% When nutrient intake was considered from diet alone, adolescents often consumed less than recommended amounts of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D and E along with the water-soluble vitamins folate, biotin and pantothenic acid The use of dietary supplements helped to increase the adolescents’ intake of vitamins and minerals, particularly magnesium and vitamin C, but this isn’t a replacement for a healthy, nutrient-rich diet While it’s possible to get all the vitamins and minerals your body needs by eating a healthy diet, most people fall short. The issu

Enjoy The Show

Hi Natural Health Family! Imagine everyone enjoyed their weekend with some great weather. Did you have a win from last week? Could be something small or a big accomplishment. Whatever it was, I hope it brought you joy in some way. Sometimes life can seem strugglesome, difficult, and overwhelming. We have the ability to reframe the way we see life. Let’s talk about our ability to respond to the way we see the world around us.  Have you ever been watching a tv show or movie and thought “wow there really isn’t anything going on in the show, there are no ups and downs, no twists and turns, it just seems so bland and boring.” Maybe you have thought of that but I would guess that you probably didn’t. The movie with the director, producer, and actors is meant to grab your attention. The director wanted to captivate the audience, of course to sell more movies, but also for the people watching to get lost in the experience of watching the movie. If the movie is really good we almost forget we

A Blessing

Hi Natural Health Family. We got some rain this weekend! It was definitely refreshing and great to see something different. I am sure many of the farmers were happy to see that along with anyone that has grass. Time to mow again haha. Just like waiting for the rain we can be more patient in other aspects of our life.  Have you ever had something happen that you thought was bad or perhaps a mistake by yourself or someone else? However, after perhaps days, weeks, months you look back and realize if that didn’t happen then you would have never realized something that helped you down the road, a blessing in disguise. Many times people get caught up in thinking that this event that happened was so bad or that it should have never happened. When we are quick to judge something then we may keep ourselves from seeing something more clearly. Of course it is okay when we get frustrated from time to time, but then we can redirect ourselves to see whatever happened in a different way we can le
